We are being raised by our parents in a God-fearing persons. We grow in a catholic belief. We are cebuanos but mixed with spanish-chinese-filipino blood. We are proud to be a Cebuano (Bisaya).
In history, as far as i've research and known, "Bayno" is from the Greek word, "Baino" which means in english "to go". That is why if we research it in Latin word, "Baino" means "to go". Example to this word, CATABAINO, CATA means "down", BAINO means "to go".If we combine the two words it simply means "to go down"; another example is this word ANABAINO, ANA means "up"; BAINO means "to go". It definitely means "to go up".
I've found out that my grand grand father was a spanish soldier. It means we have blood of a Spanish.
But presently i've learned that Bayno's in Pampanga was from the family name AGUSTIN, it was in the spanish time that they changed their family name into BAYNO. I have to research that if it is true. it was just a hearsay.
If you are from the lineage of Bayno please feel free to email me so that i can communicate with you or comment to this post so that i may know. Peace be with us!
